Thought for the Day: Remind yourself frequently about why you working toward your goals.
It is easy to get into a cycle of rising in the morning, dressing, going to work, coming home, and going to bed. Becoming numb to our own lives. Losing the idealistic drive of our youth.
Frequently, if not daily, I would recommend weekly taking a few minutes on Monday to revisit where you are going and how you want to get there. However, I also want you to think about what having your dreams would look like. Take them out of your box of future presents to yourself and carefully examine what it looks like and feels like. Take a short mini vacation to your own personal futureland. So you remember why you are doing what you are doing to get you there.
So, on Monday (or everyday if you really want results), before you starting the business part of your day, please do the following:
First, I want you to take a 5 minute vacation to your Futureland.
Second, Consider what it takes to get there. What steps you would need to make it happen
Third: Decide what you need to do today to start or continue in that direction.
Fourth: Take action!
If you make this a regular Monday morning ritual, you will consciously start working toward your tomorrow land and stay inspired to make it happen.
